Ringo Is Expecting!

Ringo is PREGNANT!

Her belly is getting bigger n bigger..

By palpating her abdoment during her 30th day of gestation, Dr. Khor estimated there will b about 3 pups..

Ringo is not undergoing the x-ray scan due to unnecessary health risks to the foetuses, although x-ray will provide an accurate count of the pups..

It's just one week left of her gestation..

I'm now able to feel movements of babies around her belly from time to time..

The gestation varies from 57 - 65 days depending on the dams..

This will b the 1st time I assisting dogs' delivery.. I started to prepare her whelping weeks ago.. nervous..

I've made her a whelping box to contain her pups in future.. n she was introduced to her box so that she's familiar v it..

By d way d box doesn't look nice at all.. perhaps it's kind of ugly due to my lousy work.. wahaha..

It is necessary to keep track of her temperature from now on by taking them twice daily..

If her temperature falls noticeably, she'll likely to be in labor within 24 hours..
